NUT AND BOLT RESTORATION.STRAIGHTEST BODY IN THE UNITED STATES!!!!!I would like to give you some back ground history on this UNBELIVABLE '55 Bel Air. The car was sold new at a Chevrolet dealer in Santa Rosa California. It was purchased from the 2nd owner. It still had the original Onyx Black paint (factory code 585 as well as the black and yellow California license plates). The car was kept in inside storage for years and the previous owner never got around to restoring it. There was no evidence of repaint on the vehicle only had a couple door dings and very small dents. Car has all original sheet metal and was all original when the vehicle was purchased prior to restoration. One would be hard pressed to find another '55 in this conditionNow for the details.... ARE YOU READY!?!?ENGINE & TRANSMISSIONLESS THAN 300 MILES ON THIS ENGINE & TRANSMISSION!!!! Rebuilt 350 four bolt main 40 over RV cam 69 350/300hp double hump heads with accessory holes. New Edelbrock performance EPS intake and Edelbrock carburetor new exhaust Turbo mufflers gray powder coated engine dress up kit. Every nut bolt and screw has been replaced in the front end as well as a new radiator. Engine runs at a steady 185 degrees. Rebuilt 350 Turbo transmission with new 2400 stall converter. BODYCar was taken down to the bare metal and no filler was found. There were small dents door dings and factory flaws ONLY. Hours spent blocking and guide coating the body. The body needed to be laser straight before being painted Onyx Black (Code 585 PPG base coat clear coat). All original floor pans and trunk pans were in excellent condition and have been painted Red Oxide to keep them nice before interior installation. The vehicle was painted with doors fenders and trunk lid removed from vehicle. Vehicle was cut and buffed professionally. All stainless steel moldings inside and out have been professionally polished to showroom condition. Original bumpers re-chromed in showroom chrome and guaranteed for life. New grille parking lights hood bird and tail lights. Entire vehicle rewired using GM wire harnesses that make things easier if ever an electrical problem. One would be able to use the original '55 wiring diagram. Under dash wiring new and installed very neatly. All glass frames re-chromed new clear glass installed and new tinted windshield with new seal. Rear clear glass as wanted to show off the beautiful red interior when windows are up. Everything NEW!!!INTERIORLeather like vinyl with perforated roll and pleates perforated headliner with some perforated door panels and trunk. New Red Loop carpet installed. The trunk is as beautiful as the rest of the vehicle. The rear panel in trunk (at Bel Air script) can be removed for storage and to access the shock mount nuts. New firewall pad new heater core and cables and new vent cables. New Custom Auto Sound radio USA-630 with all options. Dual voice speakers installed in dash and back package tray.
