Powering the Valiant is believed to be the original 225ci incline 6 cylinder motor mated to a crisp manual transmission. This vehicle comes to us from a private collector and as such has always been properly maintained and stored. Some of the recent maintenance includes a new clutch, new motor mounts and other various service documents. Additionally, a full restoration is believed to have been completed on the vehicle by the previous owner. The restoration was done to such quality that the Valiant made a star appearance in Hemmings magazine in October 2019. Making this Valiant even more unique is its history. The Plymouth Valiant (first appearing in 1959 as simply the Valiant) is an automobile which was manufactured by the Plymouth division of the Chrysler Corporation in the United States from the model years of 1960 through 1976. The Valiant was also built and marketed, without the Plymouth name, worldwide in countries including Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Finland, Mexico, New Zealand, South Africa, Sweden and Switzerland, as well as other countries in South America and Western Europe.
