Additional Description: This 1965 Dodge Dart is a restored classic with a terrific ruby red style inside and out. And as you dig a little deeper, you'll see there are cool little extras that make this slant-six Mopar a true cool cruiser. We love this generation Dart because it showed off how smaller cars could still have big style. Those big rounded headlights lead the way, and echoes of that curve can be seen all the way down the side. Above that is a sharp crease in the sheetmetal that's purely for style sake. And the rear says goodbye to the tailfin era with just a hint of blade as it melts into the step-down trunk. This was an intricate car to produce, and so it's impressive just to find one as straight and clean as this one today. The factory-correct Ruby Red paint was given a nice respray to make sure this Dodge can show off its curves in the sunlight. This one loves to keep a stock look everywhere from the bright wraparound bumpers, to the dog dish wheel covers with color-matched steel wheels. So the investment on the outside is all about taking you back to the 1960s. The interior continues the very red and very classic style. Two rows of wide benches have been restored, and the textured cloth insert have a great vintage look. The dash, steering wheel, and gauges all continue this stock appearance. Even the AM radio is still there for display. But it's also hard to miss some upgrades. There's a full auxiliary readout trio cleanly mounted under the dash, and a large tach mounted prominently on top. It signals there might be something extra under the hood. The engine bay shows terrific care with smooth color-matched inner walls, tidy wires, and steel-braided lines. In the center is Mopar's famous 225 cubic-inch slant-six motor. It looks great with the red block and long, bright valve cover. We love these Hyper-Pak inline six-cylinder motors for their robust reputation, and this one has even been upgraded for a little extra power. It inhales better with an Offenhauser intake, and the split exhaust headers let it exhale easier. The desire for stock style of this Dart means you have the factory look of a single exhaust, but the setup does get you well on your way to a true dual exhaust if you like. Besides, this one really just wants to be an easy cruiser. That's why you have features like power steering, a three-speed automatic transmission w/shift kit, posi rear, with upgraded front discs. The sale comes complete with some great paperwork, including the original bill of sale, warranty card, and owner's manual. Time to get you hands on a cool Mopar with all the right extras.
